Thanks to the satisfying progression system, local co-op, and continued support from 10tons post-launch, Dysmantle is certainly worth a try for those looking for great indie games. Players can access a mini island where they can safely build their own home base, complete with farming capabilities and a new Wrench tool for smashing more environmental objects in town. The $9 USD expansion also coincides with a major free update, Home Building. Players will be able to take advantage of this new feature in the base game once they've completed a certain quest in the Underworld. Of particular interest is the addition of fast travel capabilities between camps, a highly-requested feature that should alleviate the difficulties of navigating Dysmantle's open world. Still has a PC setting for what happens when you minimize the game window. This means you spend a lot longer doing mundane tasks than advancing the story. You will spend ages breaking and storing everything as it has exp attached to it. The cavernous Underworld environment also comes with all the new features expected of an open world expansion, such as quests to undertake and new enemy types to challenge, along with new equipment like the crossbow, sawed-off shotgun, and a classy 1930s pinstripe suit. A wide range of crafting options and the abundance of materials mean players are always making some form of progress no matter what they're doing.
